Our Vision for (Y)our Pub
We love our village and the peace, tranquility and quality of life it allows and encourages. This area allows you to breathe and to relax.
We want you to love it too.
We want others to experience our glorious setting, our empty roads, our wildlife and our history – if only for a few days or a few hours. This really is a very special place which epitomises wonderful wild Northumberland.
We are only a few hundred yards from the stunning Northumberland National Park.
Intriguing historic connections to William Armstrong (he is why the village exists), the iron industry (iron for the High Level bridge in Newcastle came from Ridsdale) and the famous Cragside House at Rothbury make our immediate area an enthralling and exhilarating place to spend time.
And with a Community Owned Pub, great fun too!
